Use σ2=n1×(σ21+d21)+n2×(σ22+d22)n1+n2
where d1=m1a
d2=m2a
a= mean of the whole group.
Let m2= mean of the second group.
Therefore 15.6=100×15+150×m2250
m2=250×15.6100×15150
m2=240015
m2=16
13.44=100×9+150×σ2+100×(0.6)2+150×(0.4)2250
