Open in App
Solution

let a be the first term of gp
so a=-3
r be the common ratio.

so second term = ar and fourth term =ar^3
as per questuion
(ar)^2 = ar^3
a^2 r^2 = a r^3
a = r

so first term equals the common ratio
so 7 th term = a r^6
=a. a^6 =a^7 =(-3)^7 = -2187
