Answer is B.
As the light travels at a great speed as compared to that of sound therefore the flash of light will reach the man in no time but the sound takes a time of 5 s to reach the man.
It is given that the speed of sound is 332 m/s and the time taken for the sound to reach is 5 seconds.
Distance = speed * time taken.
Therefore, Distance = 332 * 5 = 1660 m.
Hence, the distance between the gun and the man is 1660 m.
