Here, each tile is a parallelogram.

The sides of the parallelogram are b = 45 cm and h = 15 cm

So, Area of the parallelogram $=b\times h$

= 45 cm $\times$ 15 cm

$=675c{m}^2$

Therefore, Area of the whole floor containing 3000 such parallelogram tiles $=675\times 3000$

$=2025000c{m}^2$

$=202.5m^2$

So, Total cost of polishing the floor $=Rs.2.5\times 202.5$

= Rs. 506.25
