The floor of a rectangular hall has a perimeter $250m$. If the cost of painting the four walls at the rate of $Rs10per{m}^2$ is $Rs15000$, find the height of the hall in meters.

Perimeter of floor of a room of dimension $l\times b$ is given by $2(l+b)$.

Then,

$2(l+b)=250m\Rightarrow l+b=125m⟶\left(1\right)$

Area of four walls $=2(l+b)\times h$

$\Rightarrow 2(l+b)\times h=\frac{15000}{10}=1500m^2$,

from (1),

$2\times 125\times h=1500$

$\Rightarrow h=\frac{1500}{250}=6m$

Height of hall $=6m$
