Solution

Let in rectangular hall,

length =l

breadth = b

height = h

It is given that, Perimeter of rectangular hall is 250 m.

2(l+b)=250

Since, the cost of painting the four walls at the rate of Rs. 10 per m2 is Rs.15000.

Area of four walls =2h(l+b)
2h(l+b)=Rs.15000Rs.10/m2
h(2(l+b)=1500 m2

h×250 m=1500 m2

h=1500 m2250 m

h=6 m

Therefore, height of the wall is 6 m.
