The floor of a rectangular hall has a perimeter 300 cm. Let the cost of painting of four walls at the rate of Rs. 12 per cm2 is Rs. 24,000, then find the height of the hall.

Let length of breadth of floor be l and ;b respectively, then
2(l+b)=300cml+b=150cm(1)
Area of four walls =2(l+b)h=2400012=2000cm
2(l+b)h=2000cm2, from(1), put (l+b),
2(150)×h=2000h=2000300=203=6.67cm
Height of hall =6.67cm
