The floral formula shows all the typical feature of the flower from the Fabaceae family. If we see teh pattern of arrangement of petals, we find that it shows vexillary aestivation. There are five petals,  the two inner petals are seen jointed (keel), there are two petals outise the jointed petals, overlapping it (lateral) and there is a large single petal overlapping the two wings (standard). This type of corolla is a characterstic feature of the family fabacae.
