Given,

Focal length of a concave mirror = f=50 cm

Magnification = m=2 (Since image is inverted)

We know that, magnification = m=vu.........(i)

mirror formula, 1f=1v+1u......(ii)

From equation (i) and (ii), we get

m=ffu

2=5050u

u=75 cm.
