The correct option is A only (i) and (iii) correct
Atomic size decreases from left to right due to an increase in effective nuclear charge as the incoming electron enters into the same subshell, hence 1st statement is correct

Generally, EA of the second element is less than the first element because as we move from top to bottom in a group the atomic size increases and nuclear charge increases hence it releases less energy and consumes more energy while adding an electron to it. Hence 2nd statement is wrong
Generally in a group, basic nature increases acidic nature decreases so 3rd statement is correct
The atomic size will be decreased from left to right it will not be increased so 4th statement is wrong
So the correct statements are 1 and 3
