The following are the qualifications for the post of a lecturer in Vishwa Bharati University. Looking to the following criteria announce the decision on respect of the given candidates.
The candidate must:
1. Have good academic record;
2. Have secured at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at master's degree examination in the relevant subject;
3. Have studied Hindi/Bengali up to the school leaving 10th standard;
4. Have cleared the eligibility test for lecturer of UGC/CSIR or a similar accredited state level test;
5. Have been PhD by 31 December 2005; in case a candidate is likely to submit PhD thesis by 30 June 2007, the case would be referred to the vice chancellor; and
6. In the situation a candidate had been appointed on ad hoc basis before 31 December 2005, but the candidate does not fulfil requirements of (5) above the case would be referred to VC for decision.
Q11. Manisha Patel has outstanding academic record. She had secured first class in MCom from Gujarat University. She had completed PhD by 31 December 2005. She has cleared the eligibility test of Gujarat state-level accredited test. She did not study Hindi or Bengali up to the 10th standard,
