The following diagram shows a 60° , 30° , 90° glass prism of critical angle 42° . Copy the diagram and complete the path of incident ray AB emerging out of the prism marking the angle of incidence on each surface.

Critical angle of the prism is 42°.
The ray AB is incident on the face XY at an incidence angle 30° which is smaller than critical angle of prism. So, the ray refracts at the face XY and emerges away from normal N as shown in the figure.
