$16 x^{2} - 3 = (2 x + 5) (5 x - 3)$
$\Rightarrow$ $16 x^{2} - 3 = 10 x^{2} - 6 x + 25 x - 15$
$\Rightarrow$ $16 x^{2} - 10 x^{2} - 3 + 6 x - 25 x + 15 = 0$
$\Rightarrow$ $6 x^{2} - 19 x + 12 = 0$
$\Rightarrow$ A quadratic equation is an equation of the second degree, meaning it contains at least one term that is squared.
