(i) Length of opposite sides are equal
$GU=SN$
$3y-1=26$
$y=\frac{27}{3}=9$
$GS=NU\Rightarrow 3x=18$
$x=6$
$y=9$

(ii) Diagonals of parallelogram bisect each other
$y+7=20,y=13$
$x+y=16,x+13=16$
$x=3$
$y=13$
