Graph 1 represents the level of FSH hormone (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) and graph 2 represents level of LH hormone (Luteinizing Hormone) during menstrual cycle. The menstrual cycle is divided into follicular or proliferative phase, and the luteal or secretory phase. LH and FSH are the hormones that encourage ovulation. Both LH and FSH are secreted by the pituitary gland in the brain. At the beginning of the cycle, LH and FSH levels usually less in range. Both LH along with FSH peaks on the 14th day.
