Solution

The correct option is D A- Coenzyme Q, B- cytochrome C
The electron transport chain is a process in which the NADH and FADH2 produced during glycolysis and other catabolic processes are oxidized thus releasing energy in the form of ATP. The mechanism by which ATP is formed in the ETC is called chemiosmotic phosphorylation. Ubiquinone (a hydrophobic carrier that resides within the membrane) receives electrons from from FMN and through cytochrome b, c1 passes it to cytochrome c which is a hydrophilic carrier found within the inter membrane space. So, according to the diagram A is co-enzyme Q and B is cytochrome C.
Therefore, the correct answer is option C.
