(A) Total students from IIT = 23700
Percentage of student of TATA $=17\%$
Percentage of student of BIRLA $=14\%$
$\therefore$ Percentage of TATA and BIRLA from IIT $=\frac{(17+14)}{100}\times 23700$
$=\frac{31}{100}\times 23700=7347$

(B) Total students from IIM = 24700
Percentage of student of Satyam $=12\%$
Percentage of student of Reliance $=17\%$
$\therefore$ Percentage of Satyam and Reliance from IIM $=\frac{(17+12)}{100}\times 24700$
$=\frac{29}{100}\times 24700=7163$
