Step 1: Given, total number of students in Science =400

Central angle of the school B sector =90
Number of students studying Science in school B
= Total number of students in Science × Fraction of school B
=400×90360
=400×14
=100

Step 2: Total number of students in Commerce =600

Central angle of the school B sector =120
Number of students studying Commerce in school B
= Total number of students in Commerce × Fraction of school B
=600×120360
=600×13
=200

Step 3: Ratio of the number of students studying Science to that studying Commerce in school B
=Number of students studying Science in school B : Number of students studying Commerce in school B
=100:200
Divide both sides by 100
=100100:200100
=1:2
