Solution

  • The Hydrogen chloride (HCl) is prepared in the laboratory by maintaining a suitable temperature.
  • A temperature is below 200Ā°C is necessary for the perfect preparation.
  • In the laboratory Hydrogen chloride is prepared by the reaction of Conc. Sulphuric acid (H2SO4) with Sodium chloride (NaCl).
  • The equation that is present in the laboratory preparation is, NaCl(s)+H2SO4(conc.)ā†’NaHSO4(s)+HCl(g)ā†‘SodiumSulphuricSodiumHydrogenchlorideacidhydrogenchloridesulfate
