Rational numbers are terminating decimals but irrational numbers are non-terminating and non-recurring.

43.123456789 has a terminating decimal expansion so it's a rational number.

43.123456789=431234567891000000000=43123456789109=431234567892×59=4312345678929×59

Hence, it is a rational number in the form of pq, since the prime factors of q are in terms of 2 and 5.
