Solution

The correct option is A R-Q-P-S
The first statement in the sequence should be the one that best connects with S1. It must be a continuation or extension of S1.
R is first in the sequence: S1 starts by saying that it was Saturday. R continues by saying that since it was Saturday the subject's sister's two young children were at his/her home.
R is followed by Q: Q continues R' point. It says that the children wanted to be taken out and thus the subject and his/her sister decided to take them to the zoo.
Q is followed by P: P tells us what happens next. It says that a taxi carted them all to the zoo.
P is followed by S: S further continues by saying that after reaching the zoo, they bought tickets and entered the zoo. S6 goes on to say that the children had brought roasted gram and peanuts to get into a picnic mood.
Thus, the correct sequence is R Q P S. Hence, C is the correct option.
