The table shows the rate of change of distance with time.

The first rate can be written as 502.

By simplifying the fraction, we can write the the rate of change as 251.

Since the given ratios are equivalent, they should be equal to 25:1.
Distance traveled (mi)Time taken (h)=A3=251
=A3=25×31×3=753

So, the distance covered in 3 h will be 75 mi.

To find B, we will use the same equivalent ratio.
Distance traveled (mi)Time taken (h)=150B=251
150B=25×61×6=1506

Time taken to cover 150 mi is 6 h.
