Given equation of line is
3x+yλ=0
Now for x-intercept , y=0
x=λ3
So, the coordinates of A are (λ3,0)
Now for y-intercept , x=0
y=λ
So, the coordinates of B are (0,λ)
Now , Let C(h,k) be the foot of perpendicular from (0,0) on the line
h03=k01=λ10....(using formula for finding foot of the perpendicular)
h=3λ10,k=λ10
So, the coordinates of C are
(3λ10,λ10)


So, BC:CA=9:1
