  • Land Forts and Hill Forts were constructed from stones carved out of mountains and were attached(depending upon the design) with the help of lime,rubble,gravel,stones,bricks,molten metal,sand. In some cases, the walls were two layered with external face of stone and filled with sand and lime internally and in some cases molten metal was used to fill up fissures and strengthen the construction.
