Given, the frequency of tuning fork A is 1.5% more and that of B is 2.5% less than C respectively and fAfB=12Hz
Find the frequency of C.

Let us suppose that the frequency of C is f.

Then, fA=f+1.5100f&fB=f2.5100f

fA=203f200&fB=195f200

As given, fAfB=203f200195f200=12Hz

8f200=12Hz

f=12×2008=300Hz

So, D is the correct answer.
