fringe width

W=Dλd

0.002=1.2λ.00024

Thus we get
λ=4×107m

Thus the energy of the light is given as hcλ=6.626×1034×3×1084×107=4.97×1019Joules
or

4.97×10191.6×1019=3.1eV

The work function is given as 2.2 eV
the stopping potential thus required is 3.12.2=0.9eV
