The front wheels of a wagon are 2π metre in circumference and the rare wheels are 3π metre in circumference. When the front wheels have made 10 more revolutions than the rare wheels, how many metres has the wagon travelled?
60π
Suppose the rare wheel has made x revolutions.
∴ Fornt wheel has made (10+x) revolutions.
Equating the circumference of both front and rare wheels,
we get,
⇒3πx=2π(10+x)
⇒πx=2π×10⇒x=20
∴ The wagon has travelled 3πx=60π
