Synapse is the junctional region between two neurons where information is transferred from one neuron to another. The dendrite of one neuron from synapse with next neuron.

There are two types of synapse:
1) Electrical synapse electric current passes from neuron to other.
2) Chemical synapse neuron transmitters are involved in the transmission.
