The gaseous wastes like oxygen and nitrogen produced during photosynthesis and respiration are eliminated through which process?

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,

The gaseous wastes produced during photosynthesis include oxygen and nitrogen. These wastes are excreted through simple diffusion of gas outside the body through stomatal pores. Some of oxygen gas is also used up in respiration.
The gaseous waste produced during respiration includes CO2 which is mostly used up in photosynthesis while some of it is excreted through stomatal pores via diffusion.

Regards.
