The correct option is C 257.14cm2
Given: Diameter of the circle: 10 cm
radius of the circle=102=5cm
Diameter of the circle = Side of the square
Side of the square =10cm
Area of the square =102cm2=100cm2
Area of each semicircle =πr22
=π(5)22
Area of 4 semicircles =π(5)22×4
=227×25×12×4
=5507×2=157.14 cm2
Area of the figure = Area of the square + area of 4 semicircles
=100+157.14=257.14 cm2
