Initial traffic = 1213 cvpd
Assuming this traffic as initial at the end of construction of pavement.
A = 1213 cvpd x distribution factor
= 1213 x 1 = 1213 cvpd

Growth rate, r = 8%
Design life, n = 12 year
Vehicle damage factor, F = 2.5

Cumulative number of standard axles
Ns=365A[(1+r)n1]r×F

=365×1213[(1+0.08)121]0.08×2.5

=21×106
standard axle = 21 msa
