Given:
Load, L=2000 N
Distance moved by pulley C=1 m
If pulley C is moving up by 1 m, then consider the hook of pulley C be the point of application of effort. If C is the effort point then it has two movable pulleys that is A and B.
So, for the given system,
VR=2n
where, n= number of movable pulleys
So, here n=2 for C to be effort point.
so, VR=22=4
We know that,
VR=dEdL
And here dE=1 m at point C.
VR=4=1dL

dL=0.25
That means the load moves us by 0.25 m.
