We know,
$A v e r a g e = \frac{S u m o f a l l o b s e r v a t i o n s}{T o t a l n u m b e r o f o b s e r v a t i o n s}$
$\Rightarrow$ $A v e r a g e = \frac{45 + 25 + 35 + 20 + 30 + 40 + 50 + x}{8}$

We know, Average = 35

$\Rightarrow$ $35 = \frac{45 + 25 + 35 + 20 + 30 + 40 + 50 + x}{8}$

$\Rightarrow$ $280 = 245 + x$

$\Rightarrow$ $x = 35 k g$
