=AreacoveredbylineAB+AreaofsquarebelowlineBC

For the path AC,WAC=Area occupied below line AC
WAC=[12(5+15)×(62)]
=40J
The work done along AC is least.

or ΔU=q+(w)=200+(40)=160J

or UCUA=160J
UC=160+10=170J(UA=10J)
q=ΔUw(w=0)
q=ΔU=UBUA=2010=10J
