The correct option is A 374.5 cm2 Diagonal AC passes through the centre of the circle. ∴ AC is the diameter. Now, Area of rectangle ABCD=AB×AC =28×21 =588cm2 In △ABC AC2=AB2+CB2 =282+212 =784+441 =1225 =>AC2=√1225 =>AC=35cm ∴ radius=AC2 =352 =17.5 Area of the circle=πr2 =227×(17.5)2 =962.5cm2 Area of the shaded region =Area of the circle-Area of rectangle ABCD =962.5−588cm2 =374.5cm2
