The value of elements in set Q is 2 less than value of elements in set P. The elements in set P are { 5,6,7 } and the elements in set Q are { 3,4,5 }.

The given relation can be written in set builder form as,

R={ ( x,y ):x−y=2 for x∈P and y∈Q }

(ii)

The given relation can be written in the roster form as,

R={ ( 5,3 ),( 6,4 ),( 7,5 ) }

The set of all x values of ordered pair in a relation R is called domain.

Domain of R={ 5,6,7 }

The set of all y values of the ordered pair in a relation R is called range.

Range of R={ 3,4,5 }
