From the graph:
Boxes covered in 4 km = 7
Hence, 1 box = 47 km
Boxes covered by car B by the time it crosses car C = 9
Hence, distance traveled by car B when it crosses car C
=47×9=367=5.143 km
Hence, car B has traveled a distance of 5.143 km when it crosses car C.
