Solution

The correct option is B (i) No; (ii) 6 piles; (iii) 8 bricks

Say:
We have to identify and compare the number of bricks in each bag, find out the number of piles that can be made, and the number of bricks left loose.

Steps:
There are 3 rods and 7 dots representing the number of bricks in bag 1.
We know that 1 rod = 10 and 1 dot = 1 unit cube = 1
So, bag 1 = 37
There are 2 rods and 11 dots representing the number of bricks in bag 2.
1 rod = 10 unit cubes. So here, 11 dots = 11 units cubes = 1 rod and 1 units cube
So, bag 2 = 31
Therefore, we can say that bag 1 has more bricks compared to bag 2.
Total number of bricks = 37 + 31 = 68
The total number of bricks are to be arranged in piles of 10.
We can break down 68 as 6 Tens and 8 Ones.
Therefore, we can conclude that 6 piles will be made and 8 bricks will be left loose.
Hence, Option B is correct.
