Given:

𝟖𝒙 + 𝒒𝒚 = 𝟏𝟒 and 𝒑𝒙 + 𝟒𝟐𝒚 = 𝟒𝟗

So,

8p=q42=1449

p=49×814

p=28

And, q=42×1449

q=12

Hence, K=pq

=2812
