Slope (m)=Change in yChange in x=52 − 2515 − 6=3 Equation for point slope form is y−y1=m(x−x1) At point (6,25), we get: y−25=3(x−6) ⇒y−25=3x−18 (using distributive property) ⇒y=3x+7 To find the number of plants at the ground level, we have to put x = 0 in the eqaution.
