Work Function and threshold frequency are related as
W=hcλ0W1:W2:W3=1λ10:1λ20:1λ30W1:W2:W3=0.001:0.002:0.004W1:W2:W3=1:2:4

From Einstein's photo-electric equation, we have
hcλ=W+eVV=hceλWe
comparing with,
y=mx+cm=tanθ=hce
also,
λ20=(0.002)1=500Aλ30=(0.004)1=250A
To eject photoelectrons from 2 and 3 incident wavelength λ<250A
But wavelength of violet light λviolet4000A
Thus the photoelectriceffect on metals 2 and 3 is not possible with violet light
