We can see from the graph that the function does not exist for values greater than 4. limit of the function at x = 4 will exist only if the function is approaching the same value from both the sides of 4, that is 4+ and 4-. In this case the left hand limit exists and the right hand limit does not exist. So, the limit does not exist.
