The graph of y = p(x) are given in figure below, find the number of zeroes of p(x), in each case.

As we know the number of zeroes is the point where the line cut on the x - axis.
In figure (i) The line does not cut on x- axis. So, number of zeroes is 0.
In figure (ii) The line cuts on x- axis at one point. So, number of zeroes is 1.
In figure (ii) The line cuts on x- axis 3 at three points. So, number of zeroes is 3.
