  • Greatest height can be attained if he throws it in vertically upward direction and its given by H=u2/2g so putting g=10m/s2 and H=100m
  • we get u2=2000
  • Formula for range is R=u2Sin2θ/g will be maximum if Sin2θ=1
Now we can see that maximum range is u2/g , putting value of u2 we get the maximum range as 200m
