Solution

We have to find the surface area of the two cuboids.
The surface area of 1st cuboid
=2(lb+bh+hl)
=2×(15×10+15×2+10×2)
=400 cm2
The surface area of 2nd cuboid
=2(lb+bh+hl)
=2×(10×25+10×2+25×2)
=640 cm2
Sum of two surface areas = 640 cm2+400 cm2=1040 cm2
So, the calculated area will be 1040 cm2.
It is more than 600 cm2, so Alex need one more green bottle to paint the cuboid blocks.
