The H.C.F and L.C.M of two numbers are $9$ and $270$ . If one of the number is $45$, find the other number.

To find other number use the formula -

Other number = $\frac{\mathrm{Product}\mathrm{of}\mathrm{L}.\mathrm{C}.\mathrm{M}\mathrm{and}\mathrm{H}.\mathrm{C}.\mathrm{F}}{\mathrm{one}\mathrm{number}}$

Other number = $$\begin{gathered} =\frac{270\times 9}{45} \\ =\frac{30\times 9}{5} \\ =\frac{6\times 9}{1} \\ =54 \end{gathered}$$. [ Cancel $270$ and $45$ by common factor i.e., $9$ ; Cancel $30$ and $5$ by common factor i.e.,$5$]

Hence , other number is $54$
