Solution
Half life means time after which the given amount of substance reduces to half its weight or volume.
so, C-14 atom has the 5700 years of half life.
Again this carbon atom disintegrate half of its present value in 5700 years.
Example : Let initially we have 1kg of C-14 , It will reduce to 500g in 5700 years again it will reduce to 250 g in 5700 years and so on.
