Given : a=500,r=12,n=6[After 5 hours number of terms are to be 6 including first term]
We know, Tn=arn−1
∴T6=ar6−1
∴T6=ar5
∴T6=500(12)5
∴T6=50032
∴T6=15.625
Hence, the mass at the end of 5th hour will be 15.625 gm.
