We know that, any two consecutive odd numbers will have only 1 as their common factor.

For example, let's take two odd numbers 15 and 17.
Factors of 15=1,3,5
Factors of 17=1,17
Hence, HCF is 1

Similar is the case with 7 and 9, or 29 and 31. or 109 and 111. or any other pair of consecutive odd integers.

Hence, the HCF of two consecutive odd numbers is 1.
