Mass of the fuel, M = 10 g

Mass of the water, m =2.5kg=2.5×103 g

Change in temperature, ΔT=(8040)C=40C
Specific heat, s=4.2J/gC
Calorific Value =msΔTM=2.5×103×4.2×4010=42×103 J/g=42 kJ/g
